Financial Reporting Manager

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team in the San Fernando Valley

Job Description:
- Perform accounting and financial analysis
- Assist with financial reporting
- Manage financial reporting deliverables
- Troubleshoot operations issues and errors
- Design and drive system and process improvements
- Develop and maintain systems, processes and controls
- Help develop department's work plan
- Help recruit, retain and develop staff
- Develop regular reporting and analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Public Accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- A team player
- Strong work ethic

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field and a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience
