Driver will need to provide immediate service to concerns of the receiving personnel and will be responsible to call in and report any issues or problems to supervisor or office. Driver must fill out complete and accurately: fleet/transportation data log, manifest and any other documentation required by supervisor daily. Will be held accountable for the condition and safety of delivery truck and equipment provided. Must maintain a clean driving record. Additional responsibilities include customer service- directing concerns to the proper department, organized record keeping of information/paperwork, diligence with delivery stops, adherence to company compliancy protocols and report misuse of company property and or time. This is a high safety risk and time sensitive position. Driver will be committed to working in a safe and healthy work environment and will remain within all DOT guidelines. Qualifications: Must provide a clean driving record and certificate of good conduct. Communication any issues to Transportation Supervisor/General Manager Securing and cleaning equipment and truck at the end of the shift. Follow the PWM's (Preferred Work Methods) for warehouse/office Other duties as assigned Good attendance and adherence to work schedule Work Environment: Fleet environment- temperatures varying from -70 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit Warehouse environment occasionally - temperatures varying from -12 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit Shifts start between 2-7:30 a.m. and end when the work is completed Shifts generally are between 6 and 10 hours long, overtime as needed Work schedules are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturdays & nights Physical Requirements: Able to stand, sit and walk 90% of shift. Able to twist, turn, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, crawl, climb, step up, step down, balance, reach upward, reach forward, use wrists, grasp, pinch, manipulate objects, push, pull, use fingers and arms, lift office materials. Able to lift/pick up and put down boxes 70lbs. Sit for extended periods and perform repetitive movements in wrists and arms on a frequent basis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
