Job Overview
The food service workers perform tasks related to the preparation and distribution of food in the Department of Food Services and Nutrition. These employees work in various areas in general. Their work is supervised, advised, and evaluated by the supervisor, the clinical dietitian, and the administrative dietitian.
Responsibilities
* Prepares and distributes the snacks to the patients.
* Serves on the assembly line to patients, whether regular or modified diet.
* Assembles, enters, collects, and washes patient trays.
* Cleans equipment (such as work tables, steam tables, pots, kettles, griddles, slicer machines, among others).
* Keeps food dated according to established procedures.
* Organizes the purchase of food in the freezer, refrigerator, and dry storage
* Performs other tasks as requested by the supervisor.
Requirements:
* Ability to maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, and patients.
* Experience in food preparation and service tasks (Preferred).
* High school diploma.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.50 per hour
