Forklift Loaders Needed!

Kelly Services is currently hiring for Forklift Operators to work on a contract basis with one of our customers in Salinas, CA.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
-LOAD CORRECT PRODUCT (S), SIZE, AND AMOUNTS.
-LOAD TRUCKS AND/OR RAILCARS IN CORRECT CONFIGURATION.
-Properly load and/or unload trucks using scanners.
-Perform daily inspection, fill out inspection report, and service forklift.
-Stack and re-stack cartons weighing up to 50 pounds.
-Move and manipulate pallets by hand.
-Inventory and control quantities of materials.
-Ability to represent Company to outside personnel.
-Follow written and verbal directions.
-Maintain work area(s) clean.
-Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned by Supervision.

Job Requirements:
-Strong Forklift experience
•Must pass a Company approved forklift driving (& written) certification test.
-Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply & divide).
-Read, understand, & communicate in English.
-Read & understand Loading Manifests and Bill of Ladings
-Safely lift up to 50 pounds.
-Must be able to work Monday to Sunday (with 1-2 weekdays off)
•Work flexible shifts, if needed
-Operate machinery/equipment including, but not limited to: scan guns, propane tank and other machinery/equipment required to perform essential duties.
-Ability to work in cold environment
-Regular and consistent attendance mandatory
-Self-starter and motivated
-Able to work with minimal supervision
-Awareness of all safety aspects and dangers of machinery
