Forklift Operator/Warehouse

*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations.

*Duties*
* Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
* Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and assist with order picking.
* Perform heavy lifting and loading/unloading of goods as required.
* Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards while operating equipment.
* Assist in building pallets for shipment and ensuring proper stacking of materials.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain an organized work environment.
* Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues.

*Experience*
* Previous experience as a Forklift Operator (reach trucks, sit down, pallet riders) or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
* Able to use a handheld scanner
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking processes is advantageous.
* Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is desirable.
* Ability to operate cranes and other material handling equipment is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 5pm- 2am

Friday: 4pm-1am

Pay: $11.00 per hour
