Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring and Managing Inventory:Tracking stock levels, identifying shortages, and ensuring sufficient supply to meet demand.
* Supplier Management:Sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and resolving supply-related issues.
* Inventory Control:Implementing and maintaining inventory control systems, including barcoding and computerized systems.
* Team Leadership:Hiring, training, and supervising warehouse staff, delegating tasks, and creating rosters.
* Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyzing inventory data, generating reports on inventory performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
* Cost Management:Monitoring inventory costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing inventory expenses.
* Physical Inventory Counts:Conducting regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
* Coordination with Other Departments:Collaborating with sales, production, and logistics teams to align inventory management with business needs.
