General Sales Manager -- Americas Livestock Management Role Description:
The position of General Sales Manager Livestock at NEDAP will focus on sales/marketing activities in connection to Nedap's product propositions in the Swine and Cow industries.
You will:
- Acquire new business congruent with NEDAP margin objectives and deals that are feasible and executable for NEDAP NV and partners within the USA;
- Develop and maintain active relations with the major American Swine producersfarms,
- Take leadership in a multi-channel sales approach to generate growth in direct sales to new accounts and sales channeling through new or existing business partners;
- Help shape NEDAP's American marketing proposition and the underlying strategic sales/marketing and operational plan for Nedap Livestock Management North America;
- Represent Nedap Livestock Management within the NEDAP group of companies in the industry;
- Feeding the creative process within the NEDAP organization by identifying customer needs and demands in the North American market.
- Manage sales and service/support team for dairy and pigs
- Report periodic all USAsales activities to Global Managers
- Build and maintain relationships with Global Corporate Head Quarters and World-wide Nedap stakeholders to unify strategic sales efforts
- Should have proven sales record $5-10M annually
- Should have good sales network with decision making level executives within industry
- Ability to travel 50-60% of the time
- Preferably local to majority of industry market operations (US Mid-west, Iowa area)
