GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making within the organization. Accountable for leading a team of analysts and data professionals to extract actionable insights from our data sets, providing strategic guidance to senior leadership, and implementing cutting-edge analytics solutions. Contribute to improving operational efficiency, optimizing business processes, and enhancing the overall competitiveness of our enterprise.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Develops and executes a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
•Leads, mentors, and manages a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
•Conducts in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities, and communicates findings to stakeholders effectively.
•Designs and oversees the creation of data dashboards, reports, and visualization tools that provide actionable insights to different business units.
•Establishes and enforces data quality policies and best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
•Evaluates and implements advanced analytics tools, machine learning models, and business intelligence platforms to enhance decision-making capabilities.
•Collaborates cross-functionally with various departments to understand their analytical needs and deliver tailored solutions.
•Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact of analytics initiatives and continually optimize them.
•Supervises, monitors, trains, and evaluates its personnel to comply with his/her role as a supervisor, to assure that his/her personnel fulfill their work plan and comply with their essential functions and that they behave in accordance with the policies, standards, norms, and procedures of the Company.
• Must comply fully and consistently with all company policies and procedures, with local and federal laws as well as with the regulations applicable to our Industry, to maintain appropriate business and employment practices.
• May carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned, according to the requirements of education and experience contained in this document.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related discipline. At least five (5) years of progressive experience in data analytics, including at least two (2) years of experience supervising personnel.

Certifications / Licenses: N/A
Other: Knowledge of data analysis methodology. Proficiency in Excel, Access, Hyperion BRIO, and/or SQL applications. Proven track record of delivering data-driven insights and solutions that drive business impact. Experience in industries with complex data structures, such as banking, finance, healthcare, or e-commerce (preferred).
