Gift Shop Salesperson

Send resume. Looking for a high energy awesome part-time salesperson (10-24 hrs./week) for local art and souvenirs gift shop. The ideal candidate is motivated and outgoing. Greet customers when they enter the shop, offer assistance, and be knowledgeable of merchandise. Display merchandise and restock items as needed. Complete customer purchases using POS system. Responsible for cash in cash drawer, and balance at end of day. Follow checklist for daily tasks and opening/closing shop. Secure shop and monitor customer activity to prevent losses.Follow all company policies; ensure personal appearance is professional. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Lift or carry objects up to 20 pounds; climb ladders; stand for an extended period of time.
