Groundskeeper

*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes, ensuring that all grounds are well-kept and inviting. This role involves a variety of tasks including lawn care, garden maintenance, and the use of both hand and power tools to achieve a pristine environment.

*Responsibilities*

* Perform routine groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
* Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through planting, pruning, and watering.
* Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively for landscape maintenance.
* Irrigate lawns and gardens as needed to promote healthy growth.
* Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
* Assist in the installation of new landscaping features as directed.
* Maintain cleanliness of all tools and equipment used in groundskeeping activities.
* Maintain property fencing
* Care for animals
* Basic janitorial tasks, like taking out the trash and recycling

*Requirements*

* Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
* Knowledge of lawn care techniques and plant care practices.
* Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools safely.
* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
* Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: From $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
