Directs Human Resources strategy and support for a 24/7, highly matrix organizational client base spanning multiple functions in the Manati Drug Product Operations- Global Product Development & Supply Organization. Establishes the strategic priorities and direction of the HR function based on business needs, internal customer needs and External trends/developments affecting human resource policy and practice. Serve as a competent internal consultant for line management in the areas of organizational design, change and performance management, talent development and retention, Employee Engagement, Coaching, the implementation of various Global/Local HR Programs and initiatives, in addition to providing leadership to the strategic and cultural changes currently underway in the Manati Operations. Partner closely with the site leadership team to provide HR guidance, direction and influence in the achievement of business goals and objectives. Responsible for contributing to a high performing culture resulting in the Engagement, development and retention of human resources in a dynamic, highly regulated manufacturing environment. This position must comply with all Security guidelines, Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and the current Good Manufacturing Practices required by the job function. Partner with business leaders to create an effective and integrated strategy for advancing the business. Develops and Drives people strategy to support business strategy by applying broad functional knowledge of products, tools and services. Provides inputs on business needs including changes to existing policies and programs as well as suggesting new initiatives to meet short and long terms needs. Works in partnership with the Americas (Tampa) Service Center and Corporate Centers of Excellence to maintain integrity of Corporate Programs while providing appropriate business solutions. Ensures a positive and productive work environment while maintaining a positive Employee relations environment across the business; monitors the organizational climate to assure effective management of Company's Human Resources; provides guidance and counsel to management and staff on HR issues to foster high levels of productivity and Employee morale; ensures effective communication of critical issues and best practices. Develops and implements HR Plans for functional areas in alignment with site management and for line leaders. Ensure plans are effectively implemented and makes revisions/ modifications as appropriate. Develops, Implement and monitor site Workforce Plan in alignment with GPS strategy. Provides feedback and competent advice to site leaders regarding business needs and industry competitive trends. Ensures that the organizational development actions are identified and implemented. Effectively works with business partners and HR matrix partners to identify opportunities to maximize business performance. Identify needs, analyze data, develops recommendations, and implement plan and projects that maximize Employee Performance. Oversees management of HR activities such as talent retention, succession planning and overall organizational development as well as diversity & inclusion. Responsible for department budgeting and for maintaining strong technical knowledge of industry and related HR issues to assure company's compliance with all federal, state and local Puerto Rico laws and regulations pertaining to Human Resources, Counsels on EEO/ Affirmative Action initiatives to ensure fair employment practices for all employees and compliance with federal, local and corporate requirements and support efforts to employ and promote a diverse workforce. Serves as a collaborative resource for the Company's management and employees by keeping abreast of trends and issues.Counsels and advises management on policy and practice issues. Reviews and approves management decisions affecting employment. Promotes and supports HR model Changes in the organization modeling the value and behaviors of the new culture. Develops solutions to a variety of complex HR related issues within the client group. Develop creative and innovative approaches to problem solving. Ensures solutions to business issues are consistent with organizational objectives. Drives and deliver results for continuous improvement within the HR function. Set high performance expectations and is accountable for the results expected. Act with high sense of urgency. Participates in global HR initiatives on an ad-hoc basis. Position Requirements: ? Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management or Labor Relations. Master degree preferred in Human Resources Management and/or Industrial Organizational Psychology. ? Minimum 10-12 years of strong and effective experience in Human Resources functions with proven experience in organization development, performance management process, and other HR related management practices ? Thorough knowledge and scope in handling different HR domains such as Employment, Equal Employment Opportunity, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Relations and Labor Relations. ? Strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written) and teamwork skills. ? Bilingual (English / Spanish) ? Working knowledge of Personal Computers. ? Strong strategic and analytical thinking, problem solving, rapid decision making skills and conflict resolution skills ? Broad understanding of cultural and organizational systems model to support robust diagnosis of Organizational issues. ? Strong ability in negotiating and influencing without authority in complex, high impact situations, especially in a matrix-environment ?Sound ability to understand, impact and influence Organizational and Cultural changes in a dynamic Pharmaceutical manufacturing Environment from a strategic partner perspective ? Ability to impact and influence Company Talent Management, Employee Development, Staffing and Selection and Performance Management in a dynamic changing environment. ?
