The Inclusion Specialist and Testing Coordinator is responsible for developing the instructional program to meet the individual needs of the inclusion student within the regular education classroom. This position is also responsible for overseeing the preparation and administration of standardized testing in the school including CTP-5, PSAT, SAT, and AP exams.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.Serve as case manager responsible for the development of individualized accommodation plans for assigned students.Monitor the implementation of inclusion student's accommodation plan.Assist the classroom teacher with accommodations and strategies for helping students gain access to the general curriculum.Coordinate and participate in meetings with teachers, parents, psychologists, and other professionals, to monitor student progress.Work with students and teachers, in using assistive technology to enable learning and increase independence.Maintain accurate and confidential records of all assigned students.Provide information, support, and communication with parents and families. This includes referral information to outside resources.Request and maintain equipment and supplies necessary for the students and the program.Coordinate accommodations for standardized tests, including the PSAT, SAT, AP, and ACT exams.Order standardized test materials and maintain them in a secure location.Secure locations for standardized test administration.Identify and assign test proctors.Coordinate distribution and collection of secure test materials, administering tests in accordance with the established test calendar, providing and completing all test documents.
