Internal Auditor

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Responsible for carrying out critical, systematic, objective and detailed analysis of the procedures carried out in the organization in the different work areas, issuing reports for the improvement of the observations found to the members of the different functional areas of the organization.

• Responsible for developing the audit program, its scope and objectives.

• He leads the internal audit processes of the Finance department.

• Execute one-off projects across the organization to capture opportunities to reduce costs and expenses.

• Writes and implements internal controls.

• Monitors compliance of all departments with established internal controls and makes recommendations for changes to those internal controls.

• Evaluates, advises and reports to general management in a timely manner so that it can take appropriate action. Monitor that the different areas comply with the suggestions made.

• Audits the annual physical inventory processes to ensure compliance with the established time and the veracity of the inventory.

• It does surprise inventory inspections ("cycle counts") and petty cash.

• Supervision and administration of the audit process of the Dispatch cargo area, is in charge of the Auditors assigned to this area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Management.

• Previous experience Internal Auditor – 5 years minimum.

• Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills.

• Fully bilingual: Spanish/English.

• Advanced knowledge in MS Office, accounting software, databases, and finance and accounting applications.

• Advanced Excel.

• Knowledge of general accounting, finance, costs, budgets, management of accounting and auditing systems.
