Full Time Opportunity General Description System Auditor - Plans and conducts audits of data processing systems and applications to safeguard assets, ensure accuracy of data, and promote operational efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interviews workers and examines records to gather data. Analyzes data gathered to evaluate effectiveness of controls and determine accuracy of reports and efficiency and security of operations. Plans, writes, and tests computer programs required to obtain information needed for audit. Devises controls for new or modified computer applications to prevent inaccurate calculations and data loss, and to ensure discovery of errors. Prepares, discuss and submit audit findings and recommendations. Knowledge in database management programs like COBOL, ORACLE, MS-SQL or similar, mainframe operative computer systems, client-server, telecommunications network (LAN/WAN) and computer center operations. Analytical ability to evaluate information technology (technical terminology about computer systems and equipment, language and computation codes Ability to analyze financial /accounting information and experience in applied logic to problem solving. Able to works fast and under pressure meeting deadlines and established work schedules. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish Flexibility to work extended hours and available to travel if needed Knowledge in banking products and services Knowledge in personal computer management and MS Office programs like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access Knowledge in database management programs like COBOL, ORACLE, MS-SQL or similar, mainframe operative computer systems, client-server, telecommunications network (LAN/WAN) and computer center operations.
