Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Structured Cabling Assistant to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low-voltage cabling systems, including data, voice, and video infrastructure. The ideal candidate will assist senior technicians and ensure high-quality workmanship on structured cabling projects in commercial, industrial, and residential environments.


Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the installation, routing, labeling, and termination of copper (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a) and fiber optic cabling.
* Pull and route cable through ceilings, walls, conduits, and raised floors.
* Set up work areas, tools, and materials in preparation for installations.
* Mount and install racks, patch panels, jacks, faceplates, and other related hardware.
* Perform basic cable testing and troubleshooting under supervision.
* Maintain clean and safe work environments following site safety protocols.
* Accurately document work performed and inventory used.
* Follow instructions from lead technicians and project managers.


Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).
* Basic knowledge of low-voltage cabling systems and tools.
* Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, or wiring schematics (preferred).
* Comfortable using hand and power tools (drills, cable testers, crimpers, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
