• Load appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components, and office applications.
• Configure security settings or access permissions for groups or individuals.
• Maintain historical records by documenting system changes and revisions.
• Perform daily system monitoring and maintenance.
• Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Communicate information to impacted constituencies.
• Install and test computer hardware, equipment, and software applications, ensuring integration with existing network systems; provide technical assistance to computer users relating to installation problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain company servers.
• Perform backups on a regular basis.
• Troubleshoot systems to determine technical issues.
• Evaluate company systems and processes; provide suggestions when upgrades and changes are necessary.
• Maintains compliance with software/hardware licensing and records inventory.
• Follow emergency plans for equipment, power, or security failures when necessary and protect data and security.
• Perform regular file archival and dismissal, as necessary.
• Assist Information Systems Administrator in all assigned technology projects.
• Run reports on systems for different departments when needed.
• Collaborate and support other department's personnel with complex or technical problems.
• Provides setup and configuration of computing peripherals such as printers, monitors, special keyboards, among other equipment, as necessary.
• Set up equipment for presentations according to procedures established.
