General Description
We are seeking for a
IT Supervisor
under the
Technology Management Division
to lead strategic company projects. Plans, directs, and supervises of IT projects to ensure that goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Requirements, Analysis, and Design:
•Analyze business challenges, processes, and applications for improvement opportunities.
•Conduct interviews and process design work sessions with business partners and team members.
•Consult with business partners on business case development.
•Design effective business solutions.
•Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
•Design business processes and requirements for software solutions, including functionality, rules, screens (UI), and reports.
Development, Implementation, Testing, Quality Assurance, and Project Management:
•Partner with EA in the architecture of technical solutions.
•Lead the assessment of initiatives before its approval stage. Understand and design current and future states. Provide recommendation for process improvements, and systems solutions.
•Develop test plans.
•Create reference and training documents.
•Train business users.
•Conduct system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informations Systems, or related areas.
Experience
Required >5 years’ experience leading and managing projects.
Preferred knowledge in IT leadership roles.
Typically managed one or more projects involving multiple functional areas and budgets over $250K.
Demonstrated communication effectiveness, and good project management discipline.
Ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Fluent in English and Spanish
