The VISTA project's goal is to To disseminate the culture of the PRYR model as educational content in order to have a greater impact in the community. The VISTA member will review the PRYR promotional documents, to include educational content about the PRYR model. Create a series of educational content to disseminate the culture and model of PRYR by different media including PRYR's social network in the internet. Establish volunteer committees to serve the needs of PRYR, such as establishing alliances, selecting other volunteers according to competence, orientation, training and follow-up of the new volunteers. Establish an effective creative content system and/or guidelines. Increase resources for the organization. The VISTA member will be assign to our Central Offices in Rio Piedras as the work base to develop the project. The service will require to travel to other sites in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico Youth at Risk, Inc. (PRYAR) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to get the youth of Puerto Rico to take control of their lives and modify the conduct that has moved them to take dangerous risks. A Continuum of Socio-Educational Preventive Services integrates services provided to "at-risk" students emphasizing the transitional stages (elementary, to middle, to high school and post) which prepares students for the University starting in the elementary school, integrating graduates from each level in support of those in lower stages. Our services are provided in public schools of the municipalities of San Juan, Canóvanas, Juncos and Naguabo. Terms : Car recommended . Service Areas : Education .
