Comm'In seeks a Junior Accountant responsible for performing the accounting processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general book recording.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare month-end general ledger, close journal entries, and reconcile supporting documents.
* Send reports of IVU and withholding, assisting in bank reconciliations to the CPA.
* Analyze aging.
* Document financial transactions by entering account information.
* Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
* Prepare and send invoices/billing to customers and suppliers, resolving collection issues.
* Record cash receipts and generate reports.
* Prepare special/ad hoc financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.

* Verify and process payments for invoices associated with accounts payable, ensuring correct allocation.
* Manage the preparation, distribution, and reporting processes for payroll.
* Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
* Coordinate and communicate with relevant departments for personnel changes, worked hours, absences, and other payroll variables.
* Verify and reconcile discrepancies in payrolls, adjusting as necessary.
* Generate reports and analyses related to payroll for management and internal audit.
* Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure the integrity and accuracy of personnel data in the payroll system.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
* Assist and record expiration dates of required permits.
* Receive, filter, and distribute correspondence among staff.
* Coordinate services as necessary.
* Interact with clients and employees, addressing inquiries.
* Manage collections for accounts receivable.
* Manage the purchasing, billing, and collection system.
* Process and create purchase orders (PO).
* Conduct bank account reconciliations.
* Perform internal audits.
* Assist external auditors by collecting necessary information and documents.
* Maintain updated accounting books.
* Process and record disbursements as per management requests.
* Archive and organize physical and digital documents.
* Maintain contact and supplier lists.
* Provide general support to supervisors and offer general support in the administrative department.
Requirements:
* Education: Minimum Associate Degree in Accounting or related fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience: Minimum of two years in a similar position; a combination of education and experience will be valued.
* Bilingual: Proficient in both Spanish and English.
* Other: Maintains updated knowledge of accounting practices, valid driver's license, willingness to undergo background checks, and controlled substance testing.
