Jr. Accountant

*Job Opening: Junior Accountant*

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience working with an international bank or financial institution and demonstrate strong analytical and reporting skills.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Support daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
* Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
* Prepare financial reports and analyses for management review.
* Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
* Assist with internal and external audits.
* Collaborate with senior accountants and finance managers on special projects.

*Qualifications:*

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Minimum of 1–2 years of accounting experience, *preferably in an international bank or financial institution*.
* Solid understanding of GAAP or IFRS accounting principles.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
