PositionSummary: The Junior KeyAccount Manager will report directly to a Key Account Manager for the defineperimeter. In this role the Jr. KeyAccount Manager will support the commercial team by effectively managingassigned accounts within a designated geography. In this role the Jr. KeyAccount Manager must effectively develop relationships with key clients to meetand exceed defined commercial and marketing objectives. Key responsibilities include developmentof strong client relationships, extensive knowledge of key travel retail segments,along with demonstrating the ability to accurately assess the business throughutilization of strong analytical skills. Additional responsibilities include increasing distribution of PernodRicard's brand portfolio to drive incremental volume and brand portfolio availability.The Jr. Key Account Manager will also be responsible for developing and assure execution ofrelevant promotional and merchandising strategies that drive incremental volumegrowth while effectively managing a sales budget and P&L. EssentialJob Functions: Deliverprofit target of assigned accounts. Leverageinsight gathered at retail in order to recommend action plans to driveincremental value. Abilityto effectively communicate and collaborate with key cross functional departments Understand yourinternal team both roles and responsibilities (marketing, finance, supplychain, etc.) Demonstrateability to develop meaningful relationships with assigned key accounts thatpromote long term partnership Demonstrate strongverbal and written communication skills and consistent follow up to the keyprincipals of assigned accounts Be the lead pointperson among assigned accounts and provide clear direction and action plans Conductconsistent market visits to develop relationships across all layers withinassigned accounts Abilityto assess the business and ever-changing market dynamics (travel trends,currency exchange, global events) Utilizeavailable data to effectively develop sales strategies that deliver companyincremental volume and profit Assesscompetitive data and obtain key marketplace insights to develop effectivepromotional strategies that maintain volume growth or reduce risk of volumeloss. Effectively sell in and execute all strategicmarketing initiatives and trade programs (assure execution along with themarketing team) Accurately develop volume forecasts thatalign with stated company objectives Demonstrate strong planning skills andability to provide high quality deliverables within specified time lines Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit andforward thinking to the key account manager or senior account manager Presenting business opportunities with aclear action plan that utilizes fact based data and concepts that can deliverincremental volume Provide consistent market visit feedback toall relevant cross functional departments. Share examples of market observations viaorganized forum and champion sharing of data and ideas across all departments Request resourcesand articulate action plan needed to optimize business opportunities identified Responsiblefor accurate budget management and invoice processing to ensure no overspendwithin assigned accounts Highlyproficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to conduct business analysis andsales presentations to both cross functional departments internally andassigned key accounts externally Supportthe key account manager or senior key account manager with day to day salesinitiatives, periodic cross functional meetings, and occasional market andcustomer visits Supportthe key account manager in planning and implementing promotions, productplacements, allocations and other programs as required. Qualifications/Requirements: Education:Bachelor'sDegree Experience: Minimumof 3 years sales experience w/in the CPG industry. Experience in the spirits category and travelretail industry is a preference. Candidateshould possess strong influencing and negotiation / skills. Demonstrate strongwritten and verbal communication skills. Candidate should possess anentrepreneurial spirt and have ability to creatively solve problems. Highly proficient in MS Office with focus onExcel and PowerPoint. Languages:Englishrequired, Bi Lingual English/Spanish may be required. Expectationof travel is: 50% of the time '241447 SDL2017
