*Responsibilities*
* Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Support chefs and cooks in meal preparation by following recipes and instructions accurately.
* Handle food items safely, adhering to proper food handling procedures at all times.
* Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and knives with care and precision.
* Assist in catering events by preparing and packaging meals according to specifications.
* Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
* Participate in cleaning duties after meal service, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.

* Proficient in food preparation techniques and knowledge of culinary practices.
* Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, including knives and cooking appliances.
* Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

* Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.75 - $12.00 per hour
