You'll be a fit for this job if you have:
· Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Chemistry.
· 3-5 years of related experience.
· Fully Bilingual
In this position you'll:
· Responsible to achieving accurate laboratory testing results lies with the analyst who is performing the test.
· Should be aware of potential problems that could occur during the testing process and should watch for problems that could create inaccurate results.
· Should be able to analyze finished product samples versus specified parameters, using specifications and chemical procedures (eg. Drug solutions).
· Analyze purchase raw materials against established procedures assuring the compliance with all regulations and specifications.
· Must follow the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s),current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP’s) and current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP).
· Comply with the established milestones for each chemical procedure.
· Audit chemical test procedures, retests, additional testing and SOP's in the laboratory.
· Request and order all materials required in the laboratory on timely basis to assure an efficient performance (make request of accessories, equipment, reagents, etc.; including the issuance of purchase orders).
· Initiates and implement changes or new chemical procedures including data gathering.
· Fill out weekly, monthly, quarterly and/or annual reports for the Chemical Laboratory, when its required.
· Should be able to give routine maintenance, trouble shoots and calibrates the equipment related with laboratory tests such as: pH Meter, polarimeter.
· Capable to, read and make changes and analyze protocols and procedures as required.
· Perform specialized tests and chemical tests to raw materials and finished products.
· Prepare general material and solutions needed for laboratory tests.
· Must keep the work area in the most clean and order conditions.
· Should be able to work with many projects and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
· Willing to work extra hours, at any shift when its required, and Holidays during special periods (eg. shutdowns, internal and external audits, special projects).
· Perform statistical data evaluation (such as: Water analysis, etc.).
· Perform analytical data review.
· Perform laboratory phase I Investigation and assist in phase II Investigation completion.
· Performs the monitoring and maintenance of laboratory Investigations.
· Sanitize the work areas before and after operations.
· Execute the monitoring and maintenance of the laboratory temperature, humidity and charting system.
To get hired at QUALITY CONSUTING GROUP, you MUST be:
· Must be related with all principles of chemical testing.
· knowledge on HPLC, U V V / VIS, pH, IR, AA, Karl Fisher, TOC Analyzer, and Polari meter.
