Overview
The restaurant business functions seven days a week. All Team Members must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move Team Members from their accustomed shift as business demands change. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times
The Expo position at Lala plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of food from the kitchen to the customers, while maintaining high standards of presentation and accuracy. The Expo acts as a liaison between the kitchen staff and the server team, making sure that all dishes are prepared correctly and are served in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Organize and prioritize orders according to seating and timing
Double-check orders for accuracy and presentation before they leave the kitchen
Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations
Garnish, plate, and present dishes according to the restaurant's standards
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the expo area
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of food orders
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a focus on quality
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
