Adecco is currently assisting one of our clients in the San Fernando Valley looking for a Maintenance Coordinator for a health food and supplements company.
The ideal candidate will be responsible to manage and assist in the day-to-day activities, involving scheduling of both routine and major maintenance repair activities of the equipment and machinery on manufacturing lines.
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for supporting maintenance initiatives by serving as the primary focal point for communications.

If you meet the qualifications listed below and would like to find out more about the position, please Apply Now! Responsibilities for this Maintenance Coordinator include, but are not limited to: Develops, tracks, and maintains work order schedules.
Prepares work schedules and assigns work orders in cooperation with production planning.
Organize work materials, writes work instructions, specifies safety needs, and optimizes the use of maintenance labor to maximize the performance and minimize the downtime of all equipment.
Identifies and procures parts and materials needed for planned work.
Writes purchase requests for repair and replacement parts, and contract services.
Prioritizes planned, preventive, predictive, and project maintenance activity for assigned areas in concert with production schedules and equipment maintenance needs.
Estimates labor requirements for all planned and preventive maintenance work orders to ensure efficient assignment of available labor.
Conducts weekly meetings with Operations, and Maintenance employees to organize and prioritize maintenance work.
Ensures weekend/downtime activities are coordinated.
Tracks, analyzes, and reports maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to provide adequate performance improvement data.
To be considered for this Maintenance Coordinator position, you: Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires three to five years' experience in a highly automated manufacturing, lean manufacturing, or continuous flow operation preferred.
Competent knowledge of equipment and industrial processes.
Good organizational and oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Working knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One Computerized Maintenance Management Software is a plus.
Demonstrated ability in performing preventative maintenance and providing maintenance support Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
Demonstrated ability for independent decision-making.
Must be flexible and responsive to the needs of the business.
Must have the organizational skills necessary to ensure PM assignments are completed on schedule.
Ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule, as required.
