General Description 13; The Management Trainee Program provides participants with experiences, challenges and unique learning opportunities that are designed to develop the skills necessary to be an effective leader for the future. The program will be rotational 2:year training with hands:on experience throughout the Corporation. This may include collaborative experience with our USA operation Popular Bank. It will provide emerging talent an opportunity knowledge, enhance their skills through mentoring and coaching, and expand their professional network. Trainees will work on strategic projects and initiatives, gain hands:on experience and get acquainted with Banco Populars strategic vision, pillars, and values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 13;
Receives training and performs duties in several departments and business units. Learns line of business and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that impacts each phase of business. Participates in job rotations and assigned projects in different business areas of the organization. Prepare and present the data results of the projects analyzed to the management. Monitors performance progress with management and key trainers. Observes experienced employees to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties. Receives training in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities.

Minimum Education 13;
Masters degree or Juris Doctor with a 3.0+ GPA
Experience 13;
A maximum of five (5) years of combined work experience after completing a Bachelors and Masters Degree. Relevant internship experiences within educational field. Solid experience in leadership positions within student organizations and/or for community service initiatives. Involvement in extracurricular activities (e.g. mentoring, tutoring, volunteer work).

Must demonstrate leadership, logic, and reasoning skills. Ability to work with multiple projects and tasks with minimum supervision.

Computer and technological skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 (i.e., PowerPoint and Excel) and other presentations software. Experience with data management tools such as Power Pivot, Power BI, among others is desired.
