Manager

General Description 13; Responsible for the overall management and operation of support or business unit to develop, manage, promote, and integrate all aspects of the assigned area to meet both client needs and organization objectives. Provide direction and guidelines to employees. Budgetary/financial oversight.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 13;

Oversee the accounting process related to commercial loans owned and or serviced by Popular (Banco Popular and Popular Bank). Provide advice or in:depth analysis to provide accounting strategy related to commercial loan products offered by the company, review monthly and quarterly regulatory and financial reports provided to management and or regulators. Able to review auditor (internal and external) request and questions as needed. Actively support other area or division functions as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Coach and develop employees. Foster a spirit of teamwork allows for disagreement over ideas as well as diversity.

Education 13;

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

CPA license is preferable

Experience 13;

At least two years of experience in Financial Services accounting and analysis, knowledge of commercial loan products is preferable.

Previous supervisory experience is desirable.
