Manager II Care Center
Location: This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction, communication, and immediate support. The location to report is at MMM Clinic at Parque Industrial, Carr. PR-725 Km. 0.5 Bo Llanos, Aibonito, Puerto Rico.
Must be available to travel to other clinics locations as needed.
Schedule: This position will work rotating shifts within operational hours from 6:00 am- 11:00 pm Monday thru Sunday. May be required to work weekends or holidays, depending on company needs.
The Manager II Care Center is responsible for providing supervision and leadership to the administrative and non-physician clinical staff of a large care center and may be responsible for multiple care centers.
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Implements and monitors operational/office policy and procedures.
Ensures office processes are efficient, supports the care center, and enhances patient satisfaction and retention.
Participate in audits and/or inspections assigned by regulatory agencies.
Carry out the necessary arrangements for the incorporation of new providers into the clinic.
Analyzes daily office operations and utilization of resources.
Maintains appropriate staffing levels and morale.
Interacts with regional manager to facilitate office operations to meet company objectives.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality protocols and insurance compliance with the quality indicator established in the clinics.
Ensure laboratory and radiology resources meet established protocols and patient results are delivered on time.
Monitor costs associated with consulting expenses from external providers, track hours incurred, and tasks performed (professional services).
Perform additional duties, weekly reports and/or relevant tasks to the position as requested by Director, Medical Directors and/or EVP
Conducts monthly staff meetings.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years experience in a physician office; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
For associates working within Puerto Rico who are member or patient facing either in a clinical setting or in the Best Transportation unit, a current PR health certificate and a current PR Law 300 certificate are required for this position.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related Healthcare field is highly preferred.
Bilingual( Spanish/English) in an intermediate level.
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is strongly preferred.
Experience working with report generation and audits.
Experience with managed care and Fee-For-Service reimbursement requirements.
Experience working with electronic records systems is preferred.
