The Manufacturing Engineering Group Group supports Bulk Drug Substance (BDS) Manufacturing of proprietary and CMO cell (CHO) derived MABs. The group supports MFG by completing NCRs, Env.Mon. Excursions, Change Management URS (SOPs, EFU, Projects, POMSnet, SAP, Delta V, etc) and Product Changeover. The group also supports the Maintenance Department in planning maintenance jobs (DM, PM, CAL, CH/O). The COOP student will support the area manufacturing engineers as follows: Day to Day Activities & Support: Data Collection for NCR completion, Environmental Monitoring Excursions, Out of Tolerance Reports, Maximo Service Request Process and Equipment Maintenance Accuracy and MFG Field Support Coverage. Change Management Document Close and User Requirement Specification Generation (SOPs, EFU, Projects, POMSnet, SAP, Delta V, etc). 2015 Project Goal Completion associated to and Product Changeover, Humira High Concentration, BEx and Continuous Improvements Initiatives. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Good mathematical and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. No experience is required.
