Manufacturing Supervisor

Descripción del Empleo:
Responsible for supervising & coordinating manufacturing operations for the assigned areas. Performs the following functions: ?develops strategies necessary to comply with the established manufacturing orders?Analyzes performance trends using continuous improvement tools to ensure productivity & efficiency in the processes it oversees including: Labor management, material disposal, defect control, lost time, equipment use ?It facilitates troubleshooting to ensure production goals ?Works in conjunction with the quality department to ensure the accuracy of orders according to product specifications/ customer ?maintains direct communication with planning & customer service departments to fulfill the work itinerary?Works in conjunction with the process engineer to identify/implement continuous improvements ?Coordinates activities for the implementation of changes in products/new initiatives
Requisitos:
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering • Green Belt/Black Belt certification – preferable
• Previous experience as manufacturing Supervisor in similar industry – 5 years minimum
• Bilingual: Spanish/English
• Available to work shifts & flexible schedules when the business requires it
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in managing Microsoft Office to generate reports and trends-metrics analysis
