The Director of Marking is responsible for development and implementation of marketing strategies to amplify the growth of the Scooter's Coffee brand, leading initiatives across multiple consumer channels. This position will work closely with the Vice President in elevating the brand and brand engagement. The Director of Marketing will manage a team of multi:discipline marketing professionals in the areas of digital marketing, brand expression, local store marketing and product marketing. This position will lead product innovation from conception, through development and implementation of inspiring solutions.

Partners with cross:functional stakeholders and outside consultants to lead the development of the menu strategy, including new product development, existing product improvement, testing, and launch (both permanent menu items and LTO's).

:Builds system marketing and promotional calendar, including product features, new product initiatives, system:wide promotions, and programs to drive transactions and loyalty.

:Thought leader and partner to the Chief Marketing Officer.

:Provides strategic leadership and executional direction/collaboration with Franchise Operations and Procurement teams.

:Assists with the strategic development of the brand marketing plan and calendar to elevate the brand, drive profitable sales, increase transactions and average check to help meet comparable stores sales goals, and create excitement for the brand.

:Develops long range brand goals and objectives.

:Leads development, ongoing monitoring and analysis of marketing programs.

:Provides direction to internal marketing team and agency partners.

:Recognized as the subject matter expert on direct competition.

:Creates and manages the marketing fund budget, oversees the planning and execution of the budget, and provides strategic direction for budget allocation.

:Partners with marketing, operations and creative team members to create marketing elements (merchandising collateral, media placement, etc.).

:Oversees people processes and programs across the team to ensure talent for current and future needs.

:Attracts, retains and develops highly effective professionals and support staff.

:Determines work methods and directs the work of the marketing team.

:Establishes performance goals and provides on:going feedback, coaching, and development to enhance team performance.

:Directs the development, management and execution of B2C public relations (consumer and crisis).

:Provides coaching and consultation to Franchise Marketing Director B2B public relations.

:Oversees special event and experiential marketing to help elevate the brand.

:Oversees all marketing components of our digital and technology programs, including Mobile App, Web, Social, Loyalty, and strategic partners.
