To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Works with corporate Supply Chain and Planning colleagues to ensure correct products are being produced and address changes to forecast to minimize impact to customer and site.
Responsible for developing and maintaining valid production schedules (manufacturing and packaging) in conjunction with the site operations team, maximizing use of available system tools (i.e. Oracle ERP System) to meet customer requirements and maintain established inventory levels at the distribution centers.
Monitor finished goods inventory levels; expediting/de-expediting work order and release as needed to maintain set inventory and customer service levels.
Meet regularly and work closely with manufacturing teams to review progress, resolve scheduling conflicts, establish priorities as needed and update site working files to assure site management have full visibility of progress against commitments.
Supervisory duties include: a) responsible for performance management and development of direct reports including establishing goals and performance appraisals; b) responsible for initial training of new employees and on-going training of direct reports to assure quality of work and adherence to applicable policies (internal and external); c) responsible for development of direct reports and promoting and environment that fosters teamwork and drives execution.
Ensure through supervision of planners that work orders are created and released on time to support the production plan.
Provide updates to the supply chain team in support of maintaining established Kanban levels.
Provide management with timely updates on delays, bottlenecks, any potential supply issue, and all products below their required inventory levels.
Keep factory work load level loaded.
Drives continuous improvement of MRP accuracy.
MRP modifier maintenance.
Supports new product development.
Performs periodic capacity analysis and identifies resource constraints and aids in developing recovery plans.
Work closely with procurement team to investigate material shortages root cause to prevent reoccurrence.
Work closely with material engineering and procurement teams to address supplier changes that can have potential impact to product supply and assure accurate and timely communication with corporate team is provided as needed.
Ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, safety policies and good housekeeping .
Ensures all SOP’s are followed.
Other responsibilities as required.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.

BA in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Business Management or equivalent, Supply Chain/Logistics
5 - 7 year’s related experience (Master Scheduler, Planner, Process Engineer)
Working knowledge and experience with ERP systems required – preference to those with Oracle ERP experience.
Working knowledge and experience with Document Management System – preference to those with Agile experience.
Fully bilingual.
Demonstrated Organizational and communication skills.
Demonstrated computer skills; Microsoft Excel and ability to use pivot tables, Microsoft PowerPoint, ERP systems (PRMS & Oracle) a plus.
Lean or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
PMA and/or APICS Certification is preferred.
Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred .
Excellent business acumen, including demonstrated abilities and leadership with financial analyses, business case preparation, NPV, ROI, and data-driven approach.
Ability to work effectively with a variety of cultures, people, styles, and personalities.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and project management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
