Responsabilidades Principales:

* Inspeccionar, diagnosticar y reparar motores diésel en camiones, autobuses, maquinaria pesada y otros equipos.
* Realizar mantenimiento preventivo, incluidos cambios de aceite, revisión de filtros y ajuste de sistemas.
* Identificar y solucionar problemas en sistemas eléctricos, hidráulicos y de combustible.
* Reparar y reemplazar componentes dañados o desgastados, como transmisiones, frenos y sistemas de escape.
* Utilizar herramientas y equipos especializados para el diagnóstico y reparación de motores diésel.
* Registrar todas las reparaciones, inspecciones y mantenimiento realizados.
* Garantizar el cumplimiento de las normativas de seguridad y los procedimientos operativos de la empresa.
* Mantener un ambiente de trabajo limpio, organizado y seguro.
* Colaborar con otros técnicos y departamentos para garantizar un servicio eficiente y de alta calidad.

Requisitos:

* Diploma de secundaria (GED) o equivalente.
* Experiencia comprobada como mecánico de motores diésel o en un puesto similar.
* Conocimiento avanzado de motores diésel, sistemas eléctricos, hidráulicos y de combustible.
* Habilidad para usar herramientas de diagnóstico y equipos de reparación especializados.
* Capacidad para leer e interpretar manuales técnicos y esquemas.
* Fuertes habilidades de resolución de problemas y atención al detalle.
* Licencia de conducir válida (preferentemente CDL).
