Mechanic

FIBERCOT is seeking a full-time mechanic to join our team. A mechanic license is not required, but previous hands-on experience is essential. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of diesel mechanics, be available Monday through Friday, and be willing to assist with various tasks as needed to support our operations.Responsibilities:

* Perform diagnostic tests and general vehicle inspections.
* Handle minor repairs such as front-end work, brake systems, oil and filter changes, tire replacements, lighting, and safety systems.
* Use electronic tools and scanners to perform accurate diagnostics.
* Complete road tests to verify successful repairs.
* Maintain detailed daily records of vehicles serviced.
* Report any issues or required follow-up work promptly.
* Work safely and responsibly using all tools and equipment provided in the workshop.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a mechanic (Diesel experience preferred).
* Ability to use diagnostic scanners and related tools.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
* Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
* Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
