*Location:* Puerto Rico (Skilled Nursing Facilities)

*Job Summary:*

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Remote Medical Assistant to join our team, providing essential healthcare services to patients across multiple skilled nursing facilities in Puerto Rico . The ideal candidate will excel in taking accurate vital signs, charting patient information efficiently, and delivering compassionate care to our residents. This role requires flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.

*Responsibilities:*
* Take and record accurate vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate) of patients.
* Assist in charting patient information accurately and promptly into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
* Communicate effectively with nursing staff and healthcare providers regarding patient care and observations.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain confidentiality of patient information and uphold HIPAA regulations.

*Requirements:*
* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
* 1-2 years of experience in medical assisting, preferably in remote patient monitoring or chronic care management
* Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or skilled nursing facility setting.
* Proficiency in taking vital signs and accurately charting patient information.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in electronic medical records and technology
* Flexibility to work from Monday-Friday
* *Candidate must be bilingual (Speaks Spanish) *
