*Requirements*
* Minimum one year of office experience required; two years preferred in a similar position.
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Fully Bilingual Spanish and English (Written and oral)
* Outstanding telephone skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Outlook.
* Availability of work rotating schedules based on discussed availability and office needs.
* Knowledge of billing programs
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to details.
*Responsibilities *
* Greetings visitors, ascertains the purpose of visit, and directs them to appropriate staff.
* Interviews patients to complete documents, case histories and forms such as intake and insurance forms.
* Compiles and records medical charts, reports, and correspondence using a computer and various software programs.
* Transmits correspondence and medical records by mail, email, or fax.
* Answers telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff.
* Schedules and confirms patient diagnostic appointments, surgeries, and medical consultations.
* Receives and routes messages and documents such as laboratory results to appropriate staff.
* Maintains medical records, technical library, and correspondence files.
* Performs various clerical and administrative functions such as ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies.
* Operates office equipment such as voicemail messaging systems, and uses word processing, spreadsheet, and other software to prepare reports, invoices, financial statements, letters, case histories, and medical records.
* Keeps work area clean and organized.
* Other tasks as required.
