Specialty Labs of Puerto Rico is seeking Laboratory Technologists to support and service a full-service high complexity laboratory that services the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean with its proprietary infectious disease tests have not previously been available to the island of Puerto Rico. This is a full-time or per-diem position located in the San Juan Metro Area.
We are looking to fill two openings:
Tuesday-Saturday Full-Time shift, 11-7 (flexible hours)
Per-Diem shift (varies)

Requirements:
* A Degree in Medical Technology
* Licensure in Puerto Rico as a Medical Technologist
* 5 + years of experience is preferred
* A high level of attention to detail
* Driven technologist always wanting to improve and learn
* Excellent attention to detail
* Skills in pipetting
* Bi-lingual in English and Spanish

*Responsibilities*
* Collect and process specimens, ensuring accurate labeling and handling.
* Perform laboratory procedures including blood sampling, phlebotomy, and other general laboratory procedures.
* Analyze test results and maintain data management protocols.
* Utilize advanced techniques such as PCR, Hematology, Chemistry, and Bacteriology.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals across our wide range of referral sources in the US, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean, to ensure optimal patient care, communicating effectively in both English and Spanish.
* Adhere to safety and quality standards in the laboratory environment.
