Production Worker

Position Reports to: Jose Orlando, Site Manager Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round, Non-Exempt Schedule: 40 hours per week (Monday through Thursday) Shift: Day Shift (5:30 AM – 4:00 PM) Pay: $20.25 per hour Additional Benefits:

· $110 weekly housing

· $30 weekly transportation

Purpose The Production Worker is a key member of a dynamic team focused on maintaining a safe and cooperative work environment to achieve optimal production levels of high-quality lumber. This position is integral to the safety team, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and promptly reporting any potential concerns.

Essential Responsibilities

· Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, prepared to work safely and cooperatively.

· Participate in daily meetings, reporting any safety or production issues to the Supervisor or Manager.

· Efficiently work to keep production lines operating at maximum safe speed.

· Maintain a clean, debris-free work area to minimize hazards.

· Monitor machinery and equipment during operation, promptly reporting any malfunctions.

· Adhere strictly to all safety protocols at all times.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Equipment and Machinery

· Become proficient in the safe operation of mill equipment and machinery.

· Use all safety guards and protective measures associated with equipment, machinery, and facility operations.

· Follow Lock-out/Tag-out Procedures 100% of the time to ensure safety and prevent equipment damage.

Essential Requirements

· Ability to follow established procedures and practices.

· Strong commitment to health and safety guidelines.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs (floor to waist), 40 lbs (waist to shoulders), and perform tasks involving twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods (10-11 hours per shift).

· Completion of satisfactory pre-employment physical exam and drug screening.
