Not For Profit Controller

Descripción del Empleo:
The not for profit controller is an excellent professional with not for profit accounting experience that will perform the following minimum duties.

Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.
Oversee accounts payable accountant and process including the payment runs.
Oversee the operations including the accounts receivable function.
Oversee recording of cash receipts and make bank deposits.
Review the monthly reconciliation of every bank and credit card account.
Ascertain that monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts to ensure their accuracy.
Make necessary month end closing entries.
Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and other schedules as requested by the president.
Maintain annual budget, calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to the president.
Requisitos:
The minimum qualifications for the not for profit controller are as follows:

Leadership experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
Certified Public Accountant is a plus but not required.
Excellent communication skills.
Not for profit accounting experience.
