Occupational Health Nurse DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: To manage the day to day operations of health services facilities at the site and to coordinate the infirmary services. This position must comply with all security Guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations and the current good manufacturing practices for the job function.Schedules and completes the employee regulatory medical surveillance including new hire process. Maintains all regulatory examination test equipment under certification and calibration as requested by law. Provides first aid to occupational and non occupational cases. Keeps emergency equipment under compliance with local and federal under compliance with local and federal regulations including but not limited to medicines review, ambulance review and inspections. Coordinates and provides emergency transportation as needed. Keep updated and available the OTC Over the counter medicine supply. Review on a monthly basis the medicinestock. Keep the medical supply up dated and evaluate the new supply options and obsolete supply to be discarded. Maintains and documents medical records as requested by local and federal regulations.Establishes and complies with SOP s in the medical department. Provides orientation to employees on FMLA Family Medical Leave Act , SINOT Seguro de Incapacidad no ocupacional , CFSE Corporation del Fondo del Seguro del Estado , Maternity Leave, Sick Leaves and other Policies that impact medical aspects.Validates RTW Return to work process of employee on sick leaves with IDS Ikon Disability Services . Advises Supervisors and Managers when RTW is foreseeing. Attends Occupational Cases, managed them and keep documentation as requested by company policies and OSHA regulations. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor degree in infirmary. Four 4 years of experience as occupational nurse with two years experience on leaves management SINOT,FMLA, FSE, ACAA and case management. Experience on Triage. PR Nurse License Register RN License every 3 years. Computer literate Microsoft word, Medgate or related system.
