Swing Shift Service Advisor - Brighton - Relocate To Denver Area

The Service Advisor acts as the liaison between the customer and Transwest Technician when service is required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Listen to the customer description of the problems or service needed. Determine the type of service required and prepare a service order Engage in upsells and promotions Obtain customer authorization and signatures for all repairs Present the repair order to foreman for dispatch. Prepare and present the customer with quotes for all repairs. Communicate with the customer and Forman during repairs. Work with the foreman to ensure the repair is completed. Prepare and invoice Repair Order (RO). Contact the customer for pick up or delivery. Ensure that Secured Payment is made prior to releasing serviced vehicles. Keep Uptime Pro updated as needed. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Required to perform work inside and outside, in all-weather situations, at the shop division location. Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time. Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 80 lbs. Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery. Normal range of hearing and vision. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: High School diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days of employment. Good standing MVR. Previous experience as a service writer or advisor required. Experience diagnosing diesel trucks is a plus. Heavy and medium duty truck industry experience is a plus. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Detail oriented. Ability to work any shift, including nights. Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
