Create, implement & maintain quality documentation: quality control plans, quality procedures & work instructions. Owner of the Quality Management System of the plant. Acts as internal consultant in areas of statistical analysis & process control, experiment design, Lean & project management. Ensure that all processes are in full compliance at all times for established and approved processes. Develop and manage the internal audit program integrating the GEE QMS' audit requirements. Develop, integrate and manage the Corrective Action and Preventive Action program (CAPA). Ensure timely resolution on issues impacting the operation and/ or customers. Provide training to quality and operations personnel as required. Identify and lead quality improvement projects to achieve business quality commitments. Ensure controlled implementation, process capabilities evaluation and essential operational parameters for any product/process integration or change. Owner of the QMS system, including tracking data accuracy, out of control situations, PPM levels of CTQ's/PPCTQ's. Lead warranty returns defect analysis process as well as scrap reduction programs & owns COQ reduction for assigned areas. Ensures process complies with UL & CSA standards avoiding variation notices and assuring all outgoing and incoming product meet appropriate standards, FRACAS owner. Work closely with Sourcing and Supplier Quality teams to ensure the highest quality from internal and external vendors. Participates on daily production meetings and supports all operational plant targets. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanic Engineering. 3 years minimum experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred. Exposure to manufacturing practices including: effective team work, pull systems, Lean Mfg., Kanban, etc. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish verbal & written.
