The College Board, a national education organization, is conducting a search for a Business System Analyst for our Puerto Rico and Latin American Operations Department . This position is based in the College Board's Puerto Rico office. This position is a 1-year term position with benefits, the position has a possibility of extension. Design and prepare forms, tests, brochures, and other types of written text, graphic material, visuals, and illustrations for publication. Assists the Director of Publications and Communications in planning and monitoring the production schedule and activities of the Unit. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES Operates PC and other graphic equipment. Prepares original text and copies for reproduction or printing. Designs brochures and layouts for tests and other publications. Performs graphic design, paste-up work for the Puerto Rico and Latin America Office publications. Revises text and implements quality control procedures to minimize errors. Maintains on file all art work performed to facilitate its retrieval. Secures tests and office documents processed by the Publishing and Distribution team. Maintain physical archives of documents and of electronic documents. Keep track of outgoing dead files to the warehouse and documents to Test Design and Construction. Receives and sends through Routing Slip work between divisions. Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned or required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Graphical Arts (Desktop Publishing preferred) or related field, with training in commercial design or equivalent. Two – three years of experience performing similar duties Related Skills & Other Requirements: Advanced knowledge of commercial graphic art design Advanced computer design skills Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Advanced knowledge of desktop publishing and use of Pdf's Adobe Acrobat Professional Knowledge of Word, Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop), CorelDraw Suite X5 Fully bilingual in English and Spanish Good verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of test formatting INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS: The position maintains contacts with positions in various hierarchical levels within the organization with the purpose of receiving and providing information and coordinating work. Controversial issues are referred to the supervisor. Maintains contacts with similar or lower positions in print shops and providers of printing goods with the purpose of giving and receiving information. Controversial issues are referred to the supervisor. Receives general supervision with detailed instructions within a creative framework, from the Director of Publications and Communications.
