*Overview*
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Assistant to oversee daily administrative operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role is crucial in supporting our team and enhancing productivity through efficient office management practices.

*Responsibilities*
* Oversee clinic administration, including reception, billing, and appointment scheduling.
* Ensure compliance with AAHA standards in administrative and operational processes.
* Manage client relationships and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.
* Coordinate inventory and supply management.
* Support human resources administration, including staff scheduling, onboarding, and performance management.
* Collaborate with the medical and support teams to optimize operational efficiency.
* Implement and improve administrative processes to maximize productivity and workflow.
* Maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
* Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations.
* Assist the *Clinic Administrator* in executing administrative and operational initiatives.

*Skills*
* Strong calendar management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Proficiency in using phone systems and other office technology.
* Excellent administrative skills with a focus on organization and detail orientation.
* Strong schedule management abilities to optimize team productivity.
* Knowledge of human resources practices is a plus.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective team management and communication.

*Requirements:*
* Previous experience in office management, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to lead teams and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Basic accounting and billing knowledge.
* Familiarity with AAHA regulations and standards is a plus.
