General Description

Provides business office clerical assistance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Writes, types, or enters information into computer to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents, copying information from one record to another. Copies data and compiles records and reports. Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer. Prepares, issues, and sends out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements, and checks. Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence and emails and prepares outgoing mail. Greets and assists visitors. Answer telephone, direct calls and take messages. Collects and distributes paperwork from one department to another. Sorts, marks, tabulate, and files articles and records. Delivers items to other units and departments.

Minimum Education

+ 60 Bachelor's degree credits approved

Experience

At least one year of related experience.

Other Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills

Fast data entry ability

Skill to work with documentation and fully digital file.

Analytical and highly organized

Able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities at the same time

Ability to work in a high pressure environment and meet deadlines

Team work oriented and able to have good interpersonal relationships

Intermediate knowledge of the English language, verbal and written

Knowledge and experience working with MS Office programs like WORD, Excel and Outlook
