General Description

Provides business office clerical assistance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Writes, types, or enters information into computer to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, checks, or other documents, copying information from one record to another. Copies data and compiles records and reports. Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer. Prepares, issues, and sends out receipts, bills, policies, invoices, statements, and checks. Opens and routes incoming mail, answers correspondence and emails and prepares outgoing mail. Greets and assists visitors. Answer telephone, direct calls and take messages. Collects and distributes paperwork from one department to another. Sorts, marks, tabulate, and files articles and records. Delivers items to other units and departments.


+ 60 Bachelor's degree credits approved in Business Administration


At least one year of related experience.

Other Qualifications

Strong communication skills both verbal and written in English and Spanish.

Advance proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Access.

Demonstrated success working collaboratively and developing strong, positive working relationships and credibility with clients and colleagues.

Self-motivated, excellent time management and prioritization skills.
