Job Description
Caribbean University is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Admissions and Marketing Officer for our Vega Baja Center. This role is crucial in identifying and participating in promotional activities and conducting active marketing to recruit new students to the University. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic professional who can effectively promote our academic programs and services while building relationships with prospective students, schools, and organizations.
Understand and promote the University's Vision, Mission, academic offerings, and services across all Academic Units
Coordinate and conduct visits to schools, agencies, and institutions to provide information about Caribbean University's programs and services
Identify and participate in events that offer opportunities to refer prospective students to the Admissions Office
Conduct interviews with prospective students and assist them in the application process
Develop and maintain records of potential candidates for Caribbean University
Participate in promotional and recruitment activities, exhibitions, and school conferences
Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required by supervisors or administrators
Meet productivity agreements and performance levels set for the Marketing Officer position
Manage and distribute promotional materials responsibly
Conduct follow-up calls and implement required marketing and recruitment strategies
Create work plans and activity reports on a weekly, monthly, semester, or annual basis as required
Participate in professional development activities as needed
Meet quotas for prospective students, admission applications, and new student enrollment
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent with experience in marketing
Proficiency in technology and digital marketing tools
Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of sales, marketing, and customer service principles
Availability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
Valid driver's license and own vehicle
Willingness to travel to various activities outside the institution and to different Caribbean University campuses
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse groups
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with higher education admissions processes and trends
Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning about new programs and educational opportunities
