Receive, analyze and process legal requests received from government agencies (state and federal), attorneys, or other legal entities. Retrieves documents based on the legal request and complies with the delivery of documents and/or information to the requesting agencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 13;
Manages local and federal government subpoenas, court orders, inquiries from government agencies and lawyers, court citations and depositions. Determines which of the solicited information or documents can be provided by the company to government agencies, court and lawyers, before due date. Negotiate time extension or partial deliveries of the requested information. Deliver requested certified copies with an official certification. Appears in court or in depositions to authenticate documents or validate operational procedures, if necessary. Takes responsibility for the compliance of injunction presented by Puerto Rico Department of Treasury, IRS, local and federal court. Manages government agencies, courts and lawyers citations to appear in court or in depositions, and compiles requested information.

Completed Bachelors degree required. Juris Doctor degree, preferred.

Experience 13;
2+ years of experience in retail banking or banking operations (branches)

:Knowledge of BPPR products and services
:Knowledge of BPPR systems and applications (Administrative System, PYSIS, Wire transfers, etc.)
:Excellent analytical skills to identify situations, look for alternatives and make good decisions.
:Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
:Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
:Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills (in both English and Spanish).
:High degree of commitment, and ability to adapt to new situations.
:Strong quantitative, research and analytical skills.
