Position Summary: As an Operations Manager, you will join our growing Operations team in Puerto Rico. Under the direction of the Operations Manager you will be responsible for providing daily operational support within the Bank’s transactional business. The role will involve assisting in developing and streamlining the daily operations to enhance controls and mitigate risk, as well as managing multiple projects across a variety of technical systems. You will work with the rest of the Operations Team on other financial projects and analyses as they arise. Responsibilities of this role include: Provide daily operational support for the Bank’s transactional business (payments, card services, deposits, foreign exchange and more) Work in a cross functional role with exposure to a wide variety of back office systems and technologies Monitor transactional activity with an awareness for Compliance considerations Identify, review and resolve exceptions as they arise, interfacing with customers and other staff Help to streamline treasury processes and procedures and enforce controls Assist with other financial projects as they arise Requirements: 2 years in the Financial services industry, with a background in payments or financial operations is Required Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from College or university is Required Strong Excel abilities and technical skills A team player who can problem solve and is able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously A strong work ethic, enjoying hands on work, and can perform in a fast-paced environment Must be able to live and work in Puerto Rico Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written, spoken and verbal is mandatory. All work and correspondence is conducted in English. Compensation: The position is a full time, salaried position starting at $27,000 -$35,000.00 with opportunity for performance bonuses.
