Our client, a Specialized Pharmacy, is looking for anOperations Manager:
General Summary
The Operations Manager will handle the day-to-day operations and activities within the Call Center, pharmacy, warehouse, packaging and order fulfillment units. Supervises, motivates and supports staff by applying a team approach and maintaining an open communication.
The Operations Manager plans, schedules, strategizes, and oversees operational activities while continually ensuring production efficiencies, overall customer satisfaction and quality product standards.
The Operations Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient planning and scheduling of personnel and equipment to reduce bottlenecks and product issues.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinates and supervises the work of functional supervisors and employees by scheduling and coordinating duties, advising on issues or problems, checking work and providing ongoing training.
Establishes daily production goals and ensures compliance for Call Center, pharmacy, warehouse, packaging, labeling and order fulfillment.
Provides regular updates to executive level management staff regarding past, current and projected operation activity.

Duties and Responsibilities
Recruit, select, coach and counsel employees
Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions of Supervisors.
Provide regular coaching and performance feedback to employees to recognize positive contributions and correct deficiencies.
Oversee production, productivity, quality and customer service standards.
Resolve problems that arise in day-to-day operations.
Responsible for all managers and supervisors with review/recommendation responsibility for all employees.
Work closely with department supervisors to perform regular analysis of input and finished inventory to ensure efficient and effective production.
Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirement, equipment layout, recommend changes and upgrades to improve efficiency and quality.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations.
Work closely with the President to establish or update policies, procedures and systems.
Submit procurement requests to ensure an adequate supply of necessary supplies and materials.
Facilitate workgroups and weekly meetings.
Coordinate with President to ensure competitive and relevant product availability.
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local rules and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrate leadership skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to identify and resolve clients problems.
Effective oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
Coaching, training and evaluating the performance of employees.
Operation of office and technological equipment and softwares, such as inventory systems.
Computer literate in MS office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Ability to communicate professionally with subordinates, co-workers, customers and vendors.
Ability to work independently and meet managerial goals.
Ability to organize daily activities of self and others and to work as a team player.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
Three (3) years of experience in a similar role managing processes and employees in a logistics/production environment.
Knowledge and Experience in the specialized pharmacy industry preferred.
